Individual Therapy:

What to Expect and General Structure

Starting therapy can be a heart-pounding, anxiety inducing experience—so we think it’s important to honor the brave step you are taking by ensuring you have a safe, therapeutic space to explore, learn, and grow.

We create comfort and trust by purposefully structuring all of our sessions into the same three stages so you always know what to expect:

Stage 1: Check-in, updates, and content identification.

Stage 2: Deep-dive into content and explore themes, needs, and work on improving our understanding of ourselves and our process.

Stage 3: Session review, homework identification, next session scheduling.

Therapy Options for Support Systems

Initial Intake Assessment — $265

In these 50-minute intake sessions for supports, we'll dive into your family's history and look at past challenges, identify patterns, and explore ways to build a stronger, more fulfilling dynamic outside of mental illness.

Support System Session — $225

This is where the growth happens! We'll deep dive into your relationship dynamics, identify areas where you need more support, and discuss how to better support your loved ones and create sustainable change.

Support for Supports:

Why Try It and Who It Helps

Individuals aren’t the only ones that are impacted by mental illnesses. Every person falls into specific, defined role within their own family unit and everyone’s role shifts to accommodate the changes that inevitably occur when mental illnesses is introduced into a system. In other words, family systems re-organize around trauma and mental illnesses.

We believe everyone needs support, even supports.

Getting support while your loved one is on their own healing journey allows you a space to be uncensored, raw, and deal with how these changes to your family system have impacted you personally. Getting support as a support helps you be a better partner, parent, or friend and gives you the skills to confidently deal with any changes and reconnect in a more satisfying, effective way with your loved ones.
